Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Lippert is director of the Institute for Advanced Simulation and head of the Jülich Supercomputing Centre. Simultaneously, he holds the chair for Modular Supercomputing and Quantum computing at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Prof. Dr. Norbert Eicker at Bergische Universität Wuppertal
Norbert Eicker has been appointed professor in parallel hard- and software systems at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, retaining his position as a scientist at JSC's division Technology.
Prof. Dr. Paul Gibbon at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium
Paul Gibbon is Associate Professor at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL), Department of Mathematics, where he teaches courses on computational methods and plasma physics. At JSC, he heads the Computational Science division and runs the Plasma Physics Simulation Lab. He is also Topic Speaker for "Computational Science and Mathematical Methods" within the Helmholtz Assocation Programme Supercomputing and Big Data.

Estela Suarez is professor at the Computer Science department at the Rhenish Friedrich Wilhelm University of Bonn. At JSC, she researches on innovative system architectures for HPC as group leader within the division Technology. She coordinates the DEEP projects series.
Kalman Szabo was recently appointed professor at JSC and the University of Wuppertal. The professorship is funded by the recruit initiative of the Helmholtz Association. His field of expertise is numerical simulations in elementary particle physics.
